What type of work will I be involved in?
As a Revenue Investigator you get the opportunity to be involved in audits and investigations into the operations of taxpayers to ensure compliance with the legislation adminsitrated by State Revenue.
Within the first couple of week after commencing with us you will be 'on the road' gaining real experience conducting audtis and investigating private and public companies with the support of colleagues experienced in the field.
The work in Revenue Investigations is interesting, varied and provides considerable scope to develop your skills and acquire valuable experience which will enhance your career prospects.
What can I expect, what do you have to offer?
Our Investigation officers tell us they really enjoy their work environment, which is both autonomous and supportive. You get to manage your own case load whilst being mentored and guided by more experienced officers. You also have the opportunity to complete your CA/CPA and can take up to 5 hours a week paid study leave. What are the opportunities for advancement?
Within compliance opportunities for advancement are excellent as graduates who successfully complete the graduate program can be appointed on merit to a level 4 Investigation Officers, and then progress to level 5 Senior Investigation Officers within a relatively short time with starting salaries of $54,510 to $60,638 respectively.
