What attracted you to the DTF graduate program?
Many factors influenced my decision to join DTF. I saw DTF as a dynamic workplace, capable of setting me many challenges, and also providing me with support and guidance when I needed it.

Such initiatives such as a flexible working environment, a central location and flexible working hours were also big positives that influenced my decision to join the team at DTF (Who wouldn’t want a place to work where you can leave early and go to the beach, or cricket!!)

In a nutshell what did you achieve in your graduate year?
I achieved many new skills in the last 12 months (A lot more than what I did at University!) including solving real, hands on, problems in a busy corporate environment. I have also enhanced my communication and interaction skills, as I have used this extensively in the past year. I have also gone on many courses, both work and professional development related. This included my Senior First Aid Certificate. Most importantly I have seen how a busy IT area functions, and how it all ties in to the rest of the organisation.

What interesting work/projects have you been involved in?
I have worked in the two areas of Information Services during the last year:

• Information Services Support (i.e. Help Desk, Asset Management, Network Support, General IT Maintenance etc)
• Systems Development (Software and Applications Enhancement)

So I have been involved in many projects and tasks. The most important was Systems Administrator (i.e. Man in Charge) of a large Corporate Workflow and Support Management System. I was involved in the initial design, and the migration from the old system to the new system. I now manage the day-to-day running of this system, so the experience gained from this is invaluable.

What do you like about working at DTF?
We have a great team at DTF, so I enjoy coming to work and interacting with all of my co-workers. The work is great, the people are excellent and the outstanding working conditions top off a great place to work.
