What do you like about working at Building Management and Works?

Building Management and Works has provided me with opportunities to work on a diverse range of government building projects and for a variety of government agencies, from court facilities, elite sporting facilities, government property restoration projects and a number of primary and high school projects.

On a day to day basis, it is my role to co-ordinate and facilitate project teams to satisfy the objectives set by Government - working with quality architects and consultant teams, experienced client representatives and a broad range of community stakeholder groups on projects up to $25 million in all regions of the State.

There is a great range of training opportunities, formal qualification programmes and in-house experience that have helped me develop my skills while the flexi hours arrangements have allowed me to continue with my other interests outside of work.

As BMW takes on more of a leading role within the Capital Works programme, the importance of BMW’s role within the planning and delivery of all of Government’s building works requirements  will only provide more challenges and opportunities. It is working through these challenges that makes BMW an enjoyable and fulfilling place to work.
