Main Roads Roll In a Success
Main Roads went live under shared services arrangements for finance and procurement in December 2008.
The Main Roads roll in involved a significant enhancement to the Whole of Government finance solution with the implementation of a project accounting module that will facilitate the future roll in of other large infrastructure agencies.
Empired Ltd recently completed an independent post implementation review of the Main Roads project. The review concluded the project was a success, but with recognition of a number of learnings have already been embraced by the program.
