Unclaimed Monies Overview

The purpose of this site is to provide you with access to our unclaimed money records and information on how unclaimed monies are administered throughout Australia.

If you are searching for unclaimed monies we ask that you note the following key points about our role:

  • Only Western Australian based organisations are required to lodged their unclaimed monies with us. We hold those monies on behalf of the payee or lawful owner.
  • The information received by us includes; the name and address of the payee, the amount and date of the payment and a reference as to what the payment relates to. This information, as provided to us, is published in our Register of Unclaimed Money.
  • We are not involved in the administration of people's financial affairs other than maintaining our Register. If your name does not appear in this Register we can only ask that you read the additional information in the following pages.
  • We are not involvedwith the administration of Bank Accounts, Life Insurance, Company Shares or Superannuation where you are not yet sixty-five years old (retirement age).
