Government Procurement

Government Procurement is a business unit with the Department of Treasury and Finance that performs the central contracting and tendering function for the public sector.

Government Procurement delivers contracting services and procurement systems and standards for agencies in the State’s public sector.  This includes developing and managing a range of common use arrangements for goods and services regularly purchased by most government agencies, as well as helping individual agencies procure their needs.

Government Procurement is also responsible for leading the procurement function at a whole of government level, providing strategic procurement advice and risk management.

The three divisions are:

  • Strategic Procurement Sevices
